Andy Roo's ™ Creole Gumbo Seasoning

Flavor to savor in that classic dish - Gumbo!

Recipe idea: In a heavy pot, brown 1 cut up chicken and 1lb. andouille (or your favorite local smoked sausage). Remove from pot. In the same pot, add 3/4 cup oil and 2/3 cup flour to make a 'roux'. Cook over medium heat until dark brown, stirring constantly. Turn off heat and gradually stir in 2 quarts water. Bring to a rapid boil. Add chicken, andouille, 1 bay leaf and 4 teaspoons ANDY ROO'S CREOLE GUMBO SEASONING. Lower heat and simmer 1-1/2 hours. Serve over rice. Serves 6-10.

Ingredients: onion, garlic, green bell pepper, cayenne, black pepper, celery and other herbs and spices.
